The History Of Pizza
In this article teaches the world about the history of pizza

Ordering food online became ever popular around 2000, however, what these people order online is not just curries, but also pizzas.  But it is interesting to know what ordering pizza is all about and where did pizza come from.

The Greeks created the pizza, even though it is now known as Italian food.  It was the greeks that baked large circular breads which they filed with oil, herbs & spices.  But Tomato was not used at the time.

In the 18th Century, the Italian's found the idea of the flat bread an called it Pizza.

Queen Margherita first took herself to the Italian Kingdom, where she discovered the pizza, and guess what she loved the pizza.

So there you can take a good guess where the Margherita Pizza came from - from Queen Margherita herself.

This is where the Italian's really loved their Margherita Pizza in the memory of Queen Margherita.

After World War Two while occupying Italian territories, the European Soldiers and American Soldiers tasted the Pizza.  They too loved it.  It is the soldiers that returned to their homeland that they introduced the pizza to their own people.

Guess what they loved it too.  So now we start celebrating the international Pizza Day on the 9th February.

Pizzas can be made with many toppings to make it healthy or fatty.  Pepperoni or cheese toppings on pizzas is most favourite.

In this day and age, there are many forms of the original pizza, for example:

  • Mexican Pizza
  • Calzone Pizza
  • Candy pizza
  • Ice Cream Pizza
  • Pizza Cake
  • Indian Pizza
  • Curry Pizza
  • and so much more.

Now in the 21st Century, ordering pizza has become so easy.  Order Pizza online has become even more easier.
